CPVD60 – Peart Yacht Design
CPVD60
Designed by Chris Peart, Peart Yacht Design – The intersection of modern naval architecture and design with the impeccable craftsmanship and quality of Van Dam Boats.
Traditional material choices in the hull, interior and outfitting are carefully mixed with modern technologies and carbon fibre in the rig, appendages and sailing systems to deliver a unique experience on the water.
An emphasis on multifunctional spaces results in a large cockpit that is optimized for shorthanded sailing, but equally suited to entertaining, dining, and sunbathing whilst at anchor. A passerelle stowed within the transom effortlessly rotates up to dockside or down to the waterline, allowing easy and safe access and an instant connection to the sea.
Inside, guests are greeted by a bright yet soft ‘New England’ atmosphere, creating a calm ambience whilst ensuring natural light through the deck hatches, house, and cockpit sides is fully distributed. Light tones are complemented by varnished joinery that emphasize the intricate hand crafted details throughout.
Below the waterline she features modern high aspect ratio appendages, providing control and power. The foil shapes have been developed to provide optimal balance and control, allowing for families to cruise with ease, as well as present exciting performance.
This unique intersection of the traditional and the modern come together in a 60’ package that is equally a joy to sail and a comfortable base to entertain and spend time on the water with family and friends.
