Boat Building Apprentice
Jake was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area. After highschool, Jake attended Lansing Community College where he received a degree in Digital Media Art & Cinematography.
When Jake isn’t learning how to build the world’s finest wooden boats, you can usually find him spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. Jake is an avid Detroit sports fan and also enjoys golfing the beautiful courses that we have here in northern Michigan.

- Favorite Projects to work on: I enjoy the different elements of preparation involved in building a boat. It’s fun to watch the pieces of the puzzle come together.
