Human Resources Generalist

Margie was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Clarkston. She lived in Walled Lake until 2012 before relocating to Johannesburg, Michigan, where she and her husband still reside today. A graduate of Clarkston High School, Margie returned to school in 2013 and earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from North Central Michigan College in 2016. In 2023, she became a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).

Happily married for 37 years, Margie and her husband have three children, two grandchildren, and a lively household that includes two Brittany Spaniels—Cadee and Daisy—and a cat named Charlotte.

At Van Dam, Margie has enjoyed every project she’s worked on so far. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors—gardening, swimming in the pool, fishing, hunting, and walking. She also embraces new experiences, from concerts to ziplining, and is always up for a new adventure.
