This classic wood day cruiser was designed by Van Dam Custom Boats for use on a large and choppy inland lake. With her lapstrake hull sides and her up-swept bow, she is pretty from every angle, yet her solidly built cold-molded wood bottom allows an efficient bottom shape for running through chop. The aft U-lounge will seat five, or it can be converted into a sun pad with fill-in cushions. The helm offers the option of standing or sitting, depending on the mood, but either way the controls are handy to reach.

There is also an easily accessible ice chest in one of the custom built seats keeping beverages near by. When you stand in the cockpit, you see beautiful mahogany joined to perfection. Her easy to maintain, solid grate flooring is comfortable to stand on in bare feet and the softly rounded furniture just begs to be caressed. Power comes from twin 260 hp Yanmar diesels, which sip fuel at 20 knots, but give her top speeds in the low 40’s.
