Boat Building Apprentice
Originally from Okemos, Michigan, after high school, George made his way to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to pursue Great Lakes Boat Building School’s Comprehensive Career Boat Building program. After he graduated, he worked on wooden boat restoration, mechanicals, and day to day marina work at Viking Boat Harbor in Cedarville.
During the past couple of years, George refit, lived on, and sailed his Tartan 27 named “Wildheart”. During his free time, you can find George sailing around the le Cheneaux Islands, surfing, snowboarding, and woodworking.
